I am very proud to share with you the project update of one of Merck More Than a Mother heroines from Namibia, Venasiu Salote. She thanked Merck Foundation and our partner The First Lady of the Republic of Namibia and Ambassador of Merck More Than a Mother H. E. Mrs. MONICA GEINGOS for empowering her saying;
My name is Venasiu Salote, I hereby sharing my report for my project.
The name of my project is called Kahala Horticulture Business, my projects is progressing well and vegetables which I plant such as onions, sweet potatoes, maize, tomatoes etc.” are happy and healthy.
Corona has taught us a many lesson and one of them is that the country should be in the position to produce for ourselves.
Merk Foundation is a wonderful Foundation which change our lives completely and I appreciate it and I hope that my business will be amazing.
I appreciate God for everything he has done in my life through Merck Foundation .l am jobless and I was struggling with my life to put a bread on the table when Merck Foundation avail in my life all changes. Am now able to keep myself busy in my garden and when I harvest my products I will be selling and buy something for myself and my family.
I am looking forward to working together with The First Lady of Namibia to empower more infertile women in Namibia, through access to information, health, and change of mindset.
