Rasha Kelej the CEO of Merck Foundation has spear headed an African star featured song to show support to the medical workers who are battling the Coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier this month while in United Arab Emirates (Dubai) in what has now become a global way of showing support and appreciation for medical workers around the world, Dr. Rasha Kelej CEO of Merck Foundation initiated the composing of an inspiring Pan African song called ‘My White Army’.

The song was produced to thank doctors and nurses fighting on the front lines of the coronavirus battle, who are risking exposure to the virus that has claimed hundreds of lives in the African continent.

“I have directed and produced for the first time a song by singers from 11 African countries for the first time together in three languages,” said Ms. Kelej.

The song is in three different languages of English, French and Arabic in efforts to show support to medical workers worldwide.

“This is my personal contribution towards the response to Coronavirus pandemic,” said the Merck Foundation CEO.
