This first-of-its-kind TV show is set to be the voice of the voiceless and break the silence about many critical and sensitive social and health issues in Africa.<br>Watch the \u2018Our Africa by Merck Foundation\u2019 Promo here:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=XOdXqQUdkm8\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=XOdXqQUdkm8<\/a><br>This pan African show was conceptualized, produced, directed, and hosted by Senator,&nbsp;Dr Rasha Kelej, CEO of the Merck Foundation to feature Fashion Designers, Singers, and distinguished guests from various domains with the aim of raising awareness and creating cultural change across Africa.<br>Expressing his excitement about the launch of the TV program \u201cOur Africa by Merck Foundation,\u201d Senator,&nbsp;Dr Rasha Kelej, CEO of the Merck Foundation explained, \u201cI am very happy and proud to present our new and unique program\u2018 Our Africa by Merck Foundation \u2019. I strongly believe that fashion and art should have a purpose beyond entertainment and being beautiful. They can contribute to raising awareness in our communities about various social and health issues such as ending FGM, ending child marriage, ending GBV, breaking the Infertility stigma, supporting Girl Education, Diabetes awareness and healthy living, and more. So, I came up with the idea of \u200b\u200ba useful but entertaining TV program. \u201c<br>\u201cI am hosting the show with my co-host Brian Mulondo from Uganda. We will discuss and address various social and health issues associated with Africa in a unique way through our African \u201cCommunity of Fashion and Art with Purpose. This will be a first-of-its-kind interactive show, featuring talented Fashion designers and Singers who inspire communities through that creative work across Africa\u201d,&nbsp;Dr Rasha Kelej added.<br>The TV program \u2018Our Africa by Merck Foundation\u2019 is currently airing in Kenya, Uganda, and Ghana, the TV program will also soon be aired in other African countries. Below are details of the channels on which the TV show will air:<br>\u2013 Every Saturday @ 5:30 pm (EAT) at KTN, Kenya<br>\u2013 Every Sunday @ 6:30 pm (EAT) on NTV Uganda<br>\u2013 Every Sunday @ 2 pm on (GMT) GHOne TV, Ghana<br>\u201cThis program is our effort to reach young people and other members of our urban and rural communities with the goal of addressing and raising awareness about the wide range of pressing social and health issues associated with our continent. We have already started receiving great feedback on the promo and first episode which is about diabetes and promoting healthy living.
